Everyone has that one tiny annoyance they wish a quick tool could fix. Splitting a bill. Converting a recipe. Tracking a habit. Naming a variable. This challenge is about building exactly that: a small, focused utility that does one useful thing well.
Pick a single everyday problem and ship a working tool for it. No sprawling feature lists, no backend empires. Just a clean, simple thing that works and that someone would actually use.
It should take an afternoon, not a weekend. Beginners and pros are equally welcome. The best entries are the ones so obvious you wonder why they did not already exist.
Examples to spark ideas:
- A tip and bill splitter for groups
- A unit or currency converter
- A daily habit or water tracker
- A random decision maker or name picker
- A countdown or pomodoro timer
- A password strength checker
Build whatever you want, as long as it stays small and solves one real problem.
